HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING… You turn ONE!!!!

You are no longer the tiny, fragile, little baby boy but you have now officially entered into your toddler-hood years. This one year has just been ONE perfect ride… We buckled ourselves in but nothing could prepare us enough for all the joy, laughter, love and peace that came flooding into our lives when you became ours. Yes, you read right… Sure, there were crazy & chaotic days, but there’s a PEACE too in the midst of all that! There’s just this sense of calm and rooted-ness you bring that makes me feel mothering you is exactly what God has been preparing me for my whole life, like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be… doing what I’m supposed to do! Think the mothers out there can probably relate… 🙂 And btw, your name really means Father of Peace too!

Everyday, I’m getting to know you more and more… Your likes and dislikes, your quirks and smirks, what tickles you and what makes you cry! And even as you grow all the more expressive, you never fail to warm my heart with how perfect you are EVERYDAY.

The best thing is my dear, all that goodness that you bring into our lives have also overflowed into our family and friends lives too! Seeing you connect to them and multiply all that joy and love makes us beam in pride as we watch at the sidelines.
